Structure of the association

DFCI Aquitaine is present on 3 levels:

1 Regional Association: DFCI Aquitaine
4 Departmental Unions: DFCI Dordogne, DFCI Gironde, DFCI Landes and DFCI Lot et Garonne
241 Associations Syndicales Autorisées (owners' associations) and Syndicats Intercommunaux (inter-communal associations) spread out over these 4 départements.

With a network of 2,500 active volunteer members, DFCI Aquitaine has thorough knowledge of the land, and is therefore a major player in the protection of the Landes de Gascogne forest.
